As soon as we landed Friday evening we headed straight to Whole Foods for their Halloween bash. Considering that Asher Wade had a total come-apart the first time we attempted to try on his T-rex costume, I thought it would be a good idea to get in some more practice before the main event next Friday. Ironically, he loved it this time and thought the whole situation was quite hilarious. We about died watching him run around with that big tail following behind him. He even left the hood on the whole time, and normally he hates anything on his head. The event was cute, although typical #toddlerAW more enjoyed knocking the groceries off the shelves rather than collecting candy. We quickly realized that a loose toddler in a grocery store is not a good idea. Sorry @wholefoodsbham about that pile of oranges. #whoops
On Sunday we headed to what I *think* will be our last fall festival of the season (Matt isn’t holding his breath on this). We headed to Old Baker Farm like we did last year. Besides it being 80 degrees out, it was a beautiful day. Asher Wade had his first pony ride, which was ridiculously cute, and he spent a lot of time in the petting zoo. I love how he has such a tender heart for animals like his mama and daddy. He also spent some time in the hay maze, listening to the gospel/bluegrass band, eating typical carnival snacks and picking out a pumpkin in the patch. After spending a couple of hours in the blazing sun, we were ready to head home. We barely made it out of the parking lot and he was passed out.
