Motivation Monday {Week 9}

I made the mistake of not noting my workouts throughout the week, so I’m doing my best to remember what exactly I did!  I know I worked out hard because I was worn slap out yesterday.  I can always tell when I’ve had a good week in the gym by how I feel on Sunday’s.  I actually took a 2 hour nap after lunch yesterday, which I hardly ever do.  I would have just taken a legit rest day, but my muscles were pretty tight and I knew a low impact walk around the neighborhood and some good stretching would help loosen them up.  Hoping to carry over that same motivation in to this week.  It’s crunch time now….we leave on Thursday!  I have to say though, it’s nice not worrying about how I’ll feel in a swimsuit.  It’s also nice to not feel like I had to go on some crazy diet to get swimsuit ready.  By staying active, eating a balanced diet, indulging in moderation, and just committing to a healthy lifestyle in general, ALL YEAR LONG, you don’t have to do anything drastic when swimsuit season rolls around.  The only scary thing about putting on a swimsuit is my pasty white skin, and that’s an easy fix thanks to some tan in a bottle:-)
