Motivation Monday

Getting this up at the last minute tonight!

Last week I was feeling in a rut and lacked some motivation.  When this happens, the best thing for me to do is mix it up.  I skipped some of my usual exercise classes and went for long walks outside instead.  There’s just something about getting outside during the day…it always lifts my mood and gives me a kick.  I especially love to walk down to Starbucks after my workout for an iced coffee treat;)

Monday 5/9: 30 minutes on the treadmill (5.8-6.0 mph) and 30 minutes of weight training on my own (full body, free weights and body weight exercises)

Tuesday 5/10: 1 hour walk along the river, probably around 5 miles

Wednesday 5/11: 15 minutes on the treadmill (6.0 mph) and a 45 minute power yoga class

Thursday 5/12: 15 minutes on the treadmill followed by a 45 minute Total Body Training class (all strength training using free weights and body weight)

Friday 5/13: 1 hour walk along the river, probably around 5 miles

Saturday 5/14: 60 minute session at Orangetheory Fitness for a full body workout and an hour or so of yard work

Sunday 5/15: More yard work and a 30 minute walk around the hood

I will never tire of this view
