Whoops. The holiday yesterday totally threw me off and I’m not even sure I remembered that yesterday was actually Monday. Plus, I took today off as well, so I’m all messed up on my days. We had such a fun family weekend and July 4th holiday. We spent part of it in downtown Chattanooga watching the fireworks on the river. Even though we only live 15-20 minutes from downtown, we decided to stay in a hotel so we didn’t have to deal with the traffic and craziness after the fireworks show. After the festivities were over, we simply walked a few blocks to the Doubletree. Can’t beat that! Plus, Asher Wade thinks hotels are super cool and special, so he’s quite enjoyed himself.
We definitely treated ourselves in the food department this past weekend, but we also worked out. Big changes happening though….we started Whole 30 today! Yikes. Since this is a 2016 goal of mine, it has to happen, and I decided no point in putting it off any longer. I somehow recruited Matt to join in on the fun;) Not going to lie – I’m a little nervous. This is going to involve some major changes in our diets. We are feeling motivated and up for the challenge though. I will post regular updates and let y’all know how we are faring. Wish us luck!
