Who else is struggling with getting back into the swing of things? I am! Not that I ever feel totally rested (#momlife), but I have been especially tired this past week, and already feel exhausted at the start of this new week. I haven’t been sleeping great, but I also think it has to do with the fact that’s is so cold out and all I want to do is stay in my pj’s and snuggle on the couch with a Netflix binge. I avoid outside runs when the temps are below freezing, but the good news is that the weather motivated me to take a couple of group exercise classes this week, so that was fun.
Stats from this past week:
Monday: 60 minute Orangetheory Fitness class
Tuesday: 45 minute run on the treadmill (5.4 mph) with varying incline
Wednesday: 15 minute run on the treadmill (5.4 mph) and a 45 minute kickboxing class…something new for me and it was a great workout!
Thursday: Can’t remember what was going on, but I ultimately took a rest day today, other than walking for 20 minutes around the indoor track at work.
Friday: 15 minute run on the treadmill (5.4-mph) and a 45 minute Sports Drill class (circuit training with cardio bursts in between weight exercises)
Saturday: We had some snow and ice the night before so all the Saturday Orangetheory classes were cancelled. It was so COLD out, but I bundled up and power walked around the neighborhood for 45 minutes.
Sunday: Snuck in a 60 minute Orangetheory Fitness class after church
